Get Involved with Local Geological Sites in North Merseyside
It is important that our LGS sites are monitored to assess the Geology and Geomorphology present as well as ensure their protection for the future.
Help us protect and monitor these important geological features. Your involvement makes a difference!
See below for further details.
How you can help
Merseyside Environmental Advisory Service is responsible for the keeping and monitoring of records. It is encouraged to get involved in monitoring; a steering group of local interested groups such as universities and societies has been established.
Further site-specific information are available upon request. Some sites are privately owned and so require arranged access, however there are many publicly accessible sites free to visit. Monitoring forms are available below. once completed please send onto LGSMONITORING@SEFTON.GOV.UK
